The Kühns Höhe wayside shelter in the municipality of Weißenborn, Saale-Holzland district, Thuringia, Germany. The natural stone shelter and viewpoint were erected in honour of Julius Kühn (1849–1916), a privy councillor from Altenburg who spent his summer holidays in Bad Klosterlausnitz every year from 1880 until his death. After falling into severe disrepair by 1989, the structure was restored by the Weißenborn cultural society, local craftsmen and volunteers from Bad Klosterlausnitz. The photograph shows the entrance façade with the stone inscription “Kühnshöhe”.
