Former DR railbuses known affectionately as "Ferkeltaxe" and renumbered to class 771 once DB and DR merged. By the time this photo was taken on 21 May 1996, many had been repainted to the DB regional colour scheme of turquoise and white. Seen at the branch line terminus of Schlotheim, 771.057 is seen on train 14117, 13:45 Schlotheim to Mühlhausen (Thür).
